The Railway Industry will coordinate with Thua Thien Hue Province to operate a tourist train called “Connecting Central Heritage” between Hue and Da Nang, a train journey associated with heritage and unique cultural and culinary services. Accordingly, it is expected that on the occasion of the Liberation Day of Hue and Da Nang, there will be 2 pairs of trains departing from Hue - Da Nang and Da Nang - Hue in the morning and afternoon each day. Each train consists of 5 soft seat cars, including one community car.
On the community car, visitors can enjoy coffee, experience cultural, artistic and culinary activities, shop for souvenirs... typical of the ancient capital of Hue in particular and the Central region in general.
The ship will introduce beautiful landscapes for tourists to experience. In addition to the guaranteed service quality, the ticket price is also of interest to travel agencies and tourists. The expected ticket price is 150,000 VND/person. In addition, the ship applies a monthly ticket price of 900,000 VND/month and offers incentives for policy beneficiaries.
At the meeting, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation, said that the deployment of the Hue - Da Nang tourist train is very suitable for groups of guests to experience with family and friends, helping visitors admire the beautiful scenery throughout the journey. The advantage of transporting passengers by rail on this route is that the two stations of Hue and Da Nang are both located in the city center, the flow of domestic and foreign visitors is high, and there is a great demand for two-way travel. This is the most beautiful railway route in the country.
Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province, suggested that in order to implement this special tourist train route, it is necessary to create truly special services and destinations, bringing impressive experiences to tourists: “In the recent past, Thua Thien Hue Province has also coordinated with Da Nang City to reopen the railway route from Hue to Da Nang and from Da Nang to Hue. This is a route serving the travel needs of people in the two localities. At the same time, it also connects to develop tourism, bringing tourists from Da Nang to Hue, as well as bringing tourists from Hue to Da Nang. We also have great expectations for this railway route. This is one of the routes that not only serves the development of the two localities but also greatly serves tourists when coming to Hue and Da Nang”.
