Implementing the direction of the Central Youth Union and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, on the morning of April 25, at the Soi Lan relic site, Binh Minh ward, Lao Cai city, the Provincial Youth Union - Vietnam Youth Union organized the program "I love my Fatherland" in 2024 with a journey to Dien Bien Phu. Many meaningful activities took place at the program.


Attending the program on the Central side were Mr. Ngo Van Cuong, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Youth Union Inspection Committee; on the Lao Cai province side were comrade Hoang Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Standing member of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Provincial Youth Union - Vietnam Youth Union of Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces; Standing member of the Lao Cai City Party Committee and 50 union members working at the units...




At the program, 200 national flags were presented to Binh Minh ward, 20 gifts were presented to veterans, families of martyrs, war invalids, and families with meritorious services; 20 framed maps and 500 paper maps were presented to Lao Cai Provincial Youth Union; funding was provided to build a happy house; 100 million VND was provided to start the construction of a "House of Gratitude" for Mr. Do Quoc Te, born in 1942, who was awarded the Third Class Resistance Medal (Suoi Ngan village, Cam Duong commune); medical consultation and examination were provided and 850 gifts were presented to students at Binh Minh Primary School and Anh Hong Kindergarten. The total value of the program was over 300 million VND.







This is a very meaningful activity launched by the Central Youth Union in the locality, contributing to educating young people about the significance of the Dien Bien Phu Victory. Through the program, it helps young people promote the spirit of solidarity, dynamism, creativity, express deep gratitude to the generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed their blood for the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland; raise awareness of protecting national sovereignty and border security in each cadre, union member and young person.
