Overview of the meeting
Attending the meeting were Politburo member, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man - Head of the Conference Organizing Committee; Party Central Committee members, Deputy Heads of the Conference Organizing Committee: Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Vu Hai Ha and Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Group of Young National Assembly Deputies of Vietnam, XVth tenure Nguyen Anh Tuan; Party Central Committee members: Chairman of the Committee for Culture and Education Nguyen Dac Vinh, Chairman of the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment Le Quang Huy, Head of the Central Foreign Affairs Committee Le Hoai Trung, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung and Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan.

Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Vu Hai Ha reported on the overall preparations for the 9th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians.
After listening to Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Vu Hai Ha's overall report on the preparations for the 9th Global Young Parliamentarians' Conference, the key tasks from now until before the Conference and the opinions of the delegates, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue emphasized that the 9th Global Young Parliamentarians' Conference is the only multilateral foreign affairs activity hosted by our National Assembly this year. This is a very valuable opportunity to promote the country, people of Vietnam and the achievements that Vietnam has achieved to international friends.
The scope is a conference of young parliamentarians, but its nature is global, so the leaders of the Party, State and ministries and branches are very interested. Emphasizing this, the National Assembly Chairman highly appreciated the proactiveness, positivity, full-capacity operation, and high responsibility of the Conference Organizing Committee; thanked the enthusiastic, responsible, and effective participation of the central ministries and branches and some directly related localities, the proactiveness of the Vietnam Young National Assembly Delegates Group... Thanks to that, a huge amount of work has been completed so far, and preparations for this very important event have been and are being completed.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue at the meeting
The National Assembly Chairman requested the Conference Organizing Committee to fully absorb the opinions at the meeting to continue to perfect the preparation work, focusing on completing the remaining tasks in terms of content, information, propaganda, reception, logistics, security, health care, etc. to ensure the successful organization of the Conference. In particular, it is necessary to develop detailed scenarios for each session, anticipate situations and have plans to proactively handle them. The National Assembly Chairman especially noted the need to continue to carefully prepare the content, messages and participation of the Vietnamese delegation, assign specific tasks to each member, promote the active and proactive role, and make substantial and effective contributions to the Conference; at the same time, strengthen information and propaganda work before, during and after the Conference. The National Assembly Chairman believes that with careful preparation, the Conference will be a great success, attracting the participation of a large number of young parliamentarians around the world.

On behalf of the Conference Organizing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man respectfully accepted the direction of the National Assembly Chairman; at the same time, requested members of the Organizing Committee, the National Secretariat and the Subcommittees to immediately after the meeting focus on reviewing and maximally absorbing the direction of the National Assembly Chairman and the opinions at the meeting, synchronously and effectively deploying tasks to ensure the successful organization of the conference.
