Candidates do the exam procedures
This afternoon, candidates began completing procedures to take the high school graduation exam.
This afternoon, June 27, more than one million candidates nationwide will go to testing sites to complete procedures to take the 2023 High School Graduation Exam.
In the morning, the examination officers went to the examination sites to hold examination council meetings and complete preparations to be ready to welcome candidates to complete examination procedures in the afternoon.
During the exam registration process, candidates will be informed of the exam regulations. The invigilators will instruct and thoroughly explain the exam regulations, especially reminding them of the items that are allowed and not allowed to be brought into the exam room.
Also during the exam registration procedure this afternoon, candidates need to check again all personal information such as registration number, date of birth... and promptly report to the examination staff at the examination council for timely supplementation and correction.
According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, the total number of candidates registered for the High School Graduation Exam this year is 1,024,063. The number of candidates registered for the Social Science exam is nearly 567,000, accounting for 55.3%. The number of candidates registered for the Natural Science exam is over 323,000, accounting for 31.52%.
The number of candidates who only take the university entrance exam is 34,155, accounting for 3.33% of the total number of candidates. The number of candidates who take both graduation and university entrance exams is 943,340, accounting for 92.91% of the total number of candidates. The number of candidates who register for the exam only for graduation is nearly 47,800.
Tomorrow morning, July 28, you will take the first exam, Literature, in the form of an essay test with a time limit of 120 minutes. This is also the only essay test of this exam.
