On the morning of February 12, in Hanoi , Standing Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2025 Nguyen Tuan Ha chaired a press conference to introduce the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2025.

Attending the press conference were representatives of the Vietnam Coffee - Cocoa Association, leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities of Dak Lak province and Hanoi city, Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association, sponsors, Festival media ambassadors, and many reporters from central and local press agencies.
The 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 with the theme "Buon Ma Thuot - Destination of world coffee" will take place from March 9, 2025 to March 13, 2025 in Buon Ma Thuot City and some localities in Dak Lak province. This is a practical activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot Victory Day, the liberation of Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025); at the same time, it is an opportunity to honor coffee culture, coffee growers and the coffee industry; promote the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee brand, build the image of Buon Ma Thuot city as "Coffee City of the World" . The festival is also an opportunity for Dak Lak province to introduce the image, potential, and tourism strengths of the province, promote and attract investment in the fields of business, coffee processing and other agricultural products of the province; Introduce and promote the traditional culture of ethnic minorities, especially the Central Highlands Gong Cultural Space - an oral masterpiece and intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

The festival has 15 official activities. Of which, the Opening Ceremony takes place at 8:00 p.m. on March 10, 2025 and the Closing Ceremony takes place at 8:00 p.m. on March 13, 2025 at 10/3 Square (Buon Ma Thuot City). This festival has a form of expression following the trend of international integration, with a modern style highlighting the theme " Buon Ma Thuot - Destination of world coffee ".
Compared to the 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2023, the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 will have new highlights such as: Digital content creation contest to promote the Festival on the internet environment; Groundbreaking ceremony of Trung Nguyen Legend Energy Coffee Factory; "Accompanying and sharing" coffee camp at the historical - cultural relic site of CADA Plantation, Krong Pac district...

Speaking at the press conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2025 Nguyen Tuan Ha affirmed that coffee is an agricultural product that plays a very important role in socio-economic life, providing a source of livelihood for people, especially people in the Central Highlands in general and Dak Lak province in particular.
Buon Ma Thuot is known as the “ Coffee Capital of Vietnam”, with the largest coffee area and output in the country, with an area of about 210,000 hectares, annual output reaching more than 520,000 tons, accounting for more than 30% of the national output. Coffee from Dak Lak province has been exported to hundreds of countries and territories around the world, always playing an important role in the socio-economic development of the province.
Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 , Top 5 Miss Universe 2018 H'Hen Niê - Media Ambassador of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2025 shared about media activities for the Festival.
The Coffee Festival is held every two years to honor coffee growers, processors and traders; introduce the province's tourism potential and strengths; promote investment in the field of coffee processing and agricultural products; attract domestic and international tourists to Dak Lak; promote the Buon Ma Thuot coffee brand, strongly affirm the position of Vietnamese coffee in the world market, making Buon Ma Thuot a destination for world coffee.
Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha emphasized that in preparation for the Festival, communication plays a very important role in promoting and introducing the Festival. At this Festival, the Organizing Committee invited Miss Universe Vietnam 2017, Top 5 Miss Universe World 2018 H'Hen Nie and Miss Vietnam Tourism Ambassador 2024 Dinh Thi Hoa to be the communication ambassadors of the Festival and especially invited the team of people working in communication, content creation on social networking platforms to participate in the Internet communication of the Festival, contributing to promoting the cultural beauty imbued with the identity of the Central Highlands of Dak Lak - the place known as the " Coffee Capital " of Vietnam to domestic and international friends and tourists.

At the press conference, the Organizing Committee of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2025 officially announced and introduced the Media Ambassadors of this year's Festival, namely Miss Universe Vietnam 2017, Top 5 Miss Universe 2018 H'Hen Nie and Miss Vietnam Tourism Ambassador 2024 Dinh Thi Hoa.
The Organizing Committee also answered reporters' questions related to the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025. It is expected that the Organizing Committee of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 will hold a press conference about the Festival in Ho Chi Minh City on February 21, 2025 and Buon Ma Thuot City on February 26, 2025.
