The provincial Statistics Office said that the average consumer price index (CPI) in the first 9 months of 2023 in the province increased by 3.59% over the same period.
Specifically, 9/11 groups of consumer goods and services increased in price. Of which, the group with the strongest increase was housing, electricity, water, fuel and construction materials (up 8.85%, mainly in construction materials due to high demand for housing construction and scarcity of input materials).

Next are the garment, footwear and hat group (up 6.57%); culture, entertainment and tourism group (up 6.18%); household equipment and appliances group (up 5.40%); education group (up 4.70%); food and catering services group (up 2.17%); beverage and tobacco group (up 4.72%); medicine and medical services group (up 2.28%); other goods and services group (up 4.71%).
On the contrary, there were 2 groups of goods that decreased, which were the transportation group (down 1.76%) and the post and telecommunications group (down 0.86%), which affected the general CPI index for the whole province.
