Fire at Van Quan Secondary School, dozens of students had to evacuate

At about 3:17 p.m. on March 16, Ha Dong District Police received a report of a fire at Van Quan Secondary School, Van Quan Ward.

Accordingly, the fire and a column of black smoke rose high in the second floor of the main building of the school, inside which many teachers and students were teaching and studying.

Immediately afterwards, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team (PCCC&CNCH) of Ha Dong District Police quickly dispatched two fire trucks, coordinating with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Area 4 to dispatch two more fire trucks to the scene.

Fire Prevention and Rescue Force and Ha Dong District Police organized instructions for teachers and students to move from high floors to safe areas.

After about 10 minutes of the incident, the fire was completely extinguished. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties.

According to authorities, the fire started in the vice principal's room on the second floor of the main building. The initial cause was an electrical short circuit.

Currently, Ha Dong District Police and other units are calculating property damage and investigating the cause of the fire.
