Accordingly, at around 6 p.m. the same day, people discovered a column of smoke rising from a house located in alley 18 Nguyen Cuu Van. The fire spread quickly and burned fiercely. Many people shouted to try to put out the fire but were unsuccessful.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team (Binh Thanh District Police) dispatched dozens of officers, soldiers and many specialized vehicles to the scene to put out the fire.
Determining that there were people trapped inside the burning house, the fire brigade divided into many directions to put out the fire and brought two people out. The two victims were taken out in serious condition and were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment but died. It is known that at the time of the fire, there were 5 people in the house (3 people escaped, 2 people were trapped).
