Chau Thanh handed over 26 solidarity houses

Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province Ngo Phuong Vu (left cover) and Secretary of Chau Thanh District Party Committee Lam Minh Cong presented the decision to hand over the great solidarity house to Mr. Danh Dop's family, residing in Minh Luong town.

Each house has an area of ^​​38m2 , the construction cost is from 60-80 million VND/house, of which the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Kien Giang Province supports 60 million VND/house, the rest is mobilized by the commune and contributed by the family; officers and soldiers of the armed forces support labor days.

The Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Chau Thanh District organized the handover of houses to 12 poor households in Minh Luong town.

At the house handover ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province Ngo Phuong Vu highly appreciated the creativity of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Chau Thanh district in mobilizing resources to support households in building solid, quality houses.

Comrade Ngo Phuong Vu hopes that households receiving housing support will actively work and produce, gradually overcome difficulties, and escape poverty; and wishes Khmer households a joyful and warm traditional Chol Cham Thmay New Year.

On this occasion, the District Party Committee, District People's Committee, and Chau Thanh District Military Command presented supplies and necessities to 26 households receiving house handover decisions; the Kien Giang Provincial Police Department presented gifts to 12 poor households in Minh Luong town.
