Exciting student life

Chung Bach Xuyen was born and raised in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province. After graduating from high school, Xuyen chose to study economic law at the Eastern University of Technology and is currently a fourth-year student.

Xuyen said that during high school, he hardly participated in any activities. When he entered university, it was a big turning point that changed his life later on. Xuyen participated more in the school's Youth Union and Association activities and became more active.

Xuyen started active movement since his first years of university.

In his first year of university, Xuyen was still quite bewildered because he had to get to know new friends and a new environment. However, Xuyen also actively participated in movements, such as: being a member of the art club, the Green Summer Volunteer Campaign, and the school's Exam Support Program. These were considered Xuyen's first steps in participating in student movement activities.

In his second year of university, Xuyen began to set more goals, actively participated in exciting activities and was elected Vice President of the Eastern University of Technology Student Association.

During this time, Xuyen also received many certificates of merit and titles, such as: 5 Good Students at provincial and central levels, certificates of merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, Outstanding Cadre of Dong Nai province, certificates of merit from the Dong Nai Provincial Student Association for outstanding achievements in Association work and student movements...

Xuyen said: "To achieve this achievement, I always revolve around the criteria of "5 Good Students" then set goals, divide them into small parts and try to follow them. I try to do scientific research, participate in sports, competitions and international exchange programs...".

By the third year of university, Xuyen once again maintained his form with the title of "5 Good Students" at the provincial and central levels, and also won the "January Star" award at the central level in 2022.

Become a typical young citizen

Although he participated in many activities, Xuyen did not forget his main duty, which was to study well. Therefore, in his second and third years of university, Xuyen always maintained excellent results with outstanding academic scores and received scholarships from the school.

Xuyen said: "I always balance and divide my time specifically between studying and participating in activities. When studying, I always put all my mind into it, and when participating in activities, I always discipline myself and follow the plans that have been set out."

Xuyen believes that participating in activities is the best way to help students gain more skills and knowledge to develop themselves. From there, it will give them more motivation to find the job they want after graduation.

In mid-July, Xuyen was honored as the Outstanding Young Face of Dong Nai Province in 2023.

In July 2023, the most surprising thing for Xuyen was when he was honored as a Outstanding Young Face of Dong Nai Province. "I feel happy, excited and very proud because my efforts have been rewarded. Thanks to this title, I have to try harder, improve my skills and knowledge and not be complacent with myself," Xuyen said.

Sharing about the future, Xuyen hopes to continue studying for a master's degree after graduation and return to school to become a lecturer in economic law. Xuyen also advised new students to always set goals for their lives and studies.
