Care for and protect the legitimate rights of elderly women

The President suggested that the Vietnam Association of the Elderly and the Vietnam Women's Union continue to coordinate, strongly innovate their methods of operation, and build practical programs so that elderly women can truly be an inspiring force for the next generation.

On the afternoon of December 6, President Luong Cuong met with a delegation of elderly women who are exemplary in the movement to build a cultured, prosperous and happy family. The delegation represents over 9 million elderly women nationwide. Emphasizing that the country is facing a new opportunity to enter a new era - an era of striving for prosperity and well-being of the nation, the President said that this great goal can only come true when we strongly promote the great national unity bloc, with the joint efforts and unanimity of the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army, including elderly women.

The President requested the Vietnam Association of the Elderly and the Vietnam Women's Union to continue to coordinate, strongly innovate their methods of operation, and develop practical programs so that elderly women can truly be an inspiring force for the next generation. At the same time, preserve, cultivate and promote the glorious traditions of Vietnamese women, contributing to strengthening the strength of the great national unity bloc in the cause of national construction and defense. At the same time, continue to promote the movement to build cultural, prosperous and happy families. The President also requested all levels, sectors, localities, organizations and unions to continue to care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of elderly women, especially elderly women in remote, isolated and extremely disadvantaged areas. The President believes that elderly women will continue to promote the proud tradition of Vietnamese women and elderly people, promote the spirit of "Old age - Bright example", "Old age, strong will", actively contribute ideas to build the Party's policies and guidelines, State laws and policies, build families, society and the country to become increasingly rich, prosperous, civilized and happy.
