This morning, February 28, the Senior Journalists Club of Quang Tri province held a meeting to celebrate the beginning of the year of Giap Thin - 2024 and celebrate the longevity of senior journalists. Speaking at the meeting, Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association Truong Duc Minh Tu highly appreciated the members of the Provincial Senior Journalists Club for their creativity, love for their profession, many quality journalistic, literary and artistic works, participating in competitions and winning prizes at provincial, regional and central levels.
Many senior journalists regularly collaborate with the province's press agencies, participating in writing articles to propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, arousing patriotism and the desire to contribute to building a prosperous and happy homeland, which is highly appreciated by readers.
Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association Truong Duc Minh Tu also informed about the activities of the Provincial Journalists Association, activities of press agencies in the province in the past time and orientation of propaganda work in the coming time; socio-economic achievements and expectations, orientations for breakthrough development of the province in 2024.
The Provincial Journalists Association and press agencies in the province will create the most favorable conditions for the Senior Journalists Club to participate in journalistic activities as well as improve the spiritual life of its members. We hope that senior journalists will promote their experience and creativity, and continue to make many contributions to the province's journalistic activities.

On the occasion of the new spring of Giap Thin - 2024, Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association Truong Duc Minh Tu presented flowers and gifts to celebrate the longevity of elderly journalists; wished the elderly journalists to continue to live happily, healthily, and usefully for their families and society, setting a shining example of contributing to journalistic activities for generations of journalists in the province to follow.

The Provincial Senior Journalists Club currently has more than 40 members participating in its activities. Despite their advanced age and declining health, their love for the profession still motivates senior journalists to organize field trips, gain practical experience, continue to be creative, and produce many high-quality journalistic, literary and artistic works that contribute to the province's journalism activities.
In 2023, many members of the Senior Journalists Club such as journalists Vo The Hung, Tran Dang Mau... had musical works and film scripts that won high prizes in competitions specializing in journalism, literature and art.
Regarding activities in 2024, most of the members of the Senior Journalists Club have grown up since the early days of the re-establishment of Quang Tri province, so they have many memories and desire to create many high-quality journalistic, literary and artistic works, contributing to promoting the achievements of their homeland after 35 years of re-establishing the province on July 1 (1989 - 2024).
