Ba Son Bridge is equipped with artistic lighting.

Ba Son Bridge, worth over 3,100 billion VND, a symbolic traffic project in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, is being installed with an artistic lighting system after nearly 3 years of operation.

On December 27, a representative of Dai Quang Minh Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company (THADICO) said that they are implementing an artistic lighting plan for Ba Son Bridge connecting District 1 with Thu Duc City.

THADICO said that since early December, it has implemented phase 1 of indirect lighting investment on the cable-stayed, tower pillars and both sides of the span structures; expected to be completed by New Year's Day 2025.

When completed, Ba Son Bridge will combine with Nguyen Hue walking street and Bach Dang park, creating a night highlight for the Saigon River and a tourist attraction for tourists and city residents," THADICO emphasized.

In phase 2, Ho Chi Minh City will allocate capital to invest and complete the entire artistic lighting project, including installing LED lights on the outside of the cable-stayed cable to create dynamic effects that change according to architectural themes or important events.

Ba Son Bridge (also known as Thu Thiem 2 Bridge) connecting District 1 with Thu Thiem urban area (Thu Duc City) will be put into operation from April 2022.

The bridge is nearly 1.5km long with 6 lanes, the bridge itself is 885m long, the bridge has a unique "2-plane cable" cable-stayed design with a 113m high tower in the shape of a dragon head arranged in the direction of Thu Thiem, creating an impressive highlight along the Saigon River.

Despite the fast-moving traffic, many young couples carelessly rushed out to the middle of Ba Son Bridge (connecting the center of Ho Chi Minh City with Thu Duc City) to pose and take wedding photos as if they were on a film set.
