According to Tam Ky City Police, although many measures have been taken to combat and prevent crime, recently there have been some groups of young people gathering, causing trouble, fighting, and violating the law. Among them, many groups of young people from neighboring districts came to the city to gather and drink, then fought, affecting local security and order.
Tam Ky City Police said that in February, the unit recorded two fights involving a group of very young teenagers, the youngest being only 17 years old. Notably, due to a very small conflict while drinking, two groups of young people got into a fight, leading to one subject being prosecuted for "murder in a state of extreme agitation". The case has been transferred to the Provincial Police Investigation Agency for further investigation and handling. In addition, also from a previous small conflict, two groups of young people got into a fight in the area of Nguyen Du Lake (An My Ward, Tam Ky City). Fortunately, the ward police arrived promptly, handled the incident, and restored security in the area.
After the conflicts and fights involving groups of teenagers occurred in the area, the representative of Tam Ky City Police stated that the age of the subjects was mostly from 15 to 20 years old, with some even being students. The impulsive thinking and poor legal awareness of this group of subjects are the direct causes leading to criminal behavior. In addition, the development of social networks unintentionally spreads unhealthy content, inciting violence, promoting a gangster lifestyle, "mafia", so it can easily have a negative impact on the morality and lifestyle of young people. The lack of attention to family education is also the cause leading to the situation of teenagers competing, having fun, showing off, and behaving like thugs.
In order to reduce juvenile crime and enhance the effectiveness of education and deterrence, Tam Ky City Police have recently focused on investigating and handling subjects involved in disturbances, fights, and law violations in the area. Strengthening the management and education of juveniles who are likely to commit crimes, especially those who do not have stable jobs and often gather to drink and eat...
