Promoting and stimulating tourism by renewing and organizing vibrant cultural and spiritual tourism activities, festivals, and realizing new tourism products... are the efforts that Cam Pha tourism will focus on implementing in 2025.
To achieve this goal, in recent times, Cam Pha City has actively paid attention to and invested in renovating landscapes and relics, as well as expanding tourism space to Bai Tu Long. “Therefore, in 2025, Cam Pha will continue to promote promotional activities to stimulate demand and develop new tourism products. In particular, renewing spiritual and cultural tourism, expanding space to promote marine tourism products... are two of many important tasks” - Mr. Bui Hai Son, Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Cam Pha City shared.
Accordingly, from the beginning of 2025, Cam Pha City will organize vibrant spiritual tourism, cultural and sports activities, with another focus on continuing to improve the quality of resort, spiritual and entertainment tourism products; expanding tourism space, realizing Bai Tu Long Bay tourism products connecting with Ha Long Bay.
First of all, Cam Pha City is interested in investing and restoring the value of relics. Recently, the city has restored the annual Cam Hai communal house festival and restored the Cong Hoa communal house festival. The Cua Ong Temple Festival organizes many new cultural and sports activities such as: Giving letters, playing human chess, etc.
One of the main driving forces is significant investment in key relics. With the Cua Ong Temple National Special Relic, the city has implemented a detailed planning project for Cua Ong Temple, with a budget of over 300 billion VND; and restored Ca Temple, with over 15 billion VND from socialized sources. With various resources, the city has also restored the Cam Hai Communal House Relic Complex with a total investment of over 10 billion VND; coordinated with coal industry units to properly manage the relic of Uncle Ho visiting Deo Nai mine; renovated the Cam Pha Coal Relic Site (Cam Tay Ward) with a total investment of 15 billion VND as well as paid attention to restoring, preserving, and regularly repairing other relics... Currently, Cam Pha also has 40 intangible cultural heritages that have been inventoried and recorded, and has 5 folk art clubs...
For the expansion of tourism space towards the sea, realizing and connecting with the two localities of Ha Long, Van Don, Cam Pha, continuously coordinate with the Department of Tourism, Department of Transport and related agencies and units to survey tours, routes; assess the current status, infrastructure... At the same time, the city also conducts research , reviews and investigates tourism resources; Expanding space by implementing marine farming experiences associated with tourism development; accelerating investment in 3 anchorage points on Bai Tu Long Bay...
Thanks to the above practical activities, in 2025, Cam Pha will introduce and implement many promotional activities, stimulate tourism and put new products into operation. In particular, the focus is on a series of strong spiritual cultural tourism activities such as: Spring and Autumn Festivals at Cua Ong Temple (March and September 2025); Cong Hoa Communal House Festival (April 2025), Cam Hai Communal House Festival (July 2025), traditional cultural and artistic activities in early spring (January 2025) ...
In addition, there are many promotional activities such as: Activities of the Art for Climate Festival Ha Long 2025, OCOP fair, art program Beach Music Night to Welcome Summer 2025 and many other cultural and sports activities in the city.
In 2025, Cam Pha City will also put into operation and exploit sea routes connecting Bai Tu Long - Ha Long Bay, Cam Pha with Van Don and Ha Long. Based on the approval and announcement of the Provincial People's Committee in July 2024, Cam Pha will focus on putting into operation and exploiting 4 new routes, including 3 routes within Bai Tu Long in the Cam Pha - Van Don area and 1 route from Bai Tu Long - Ha Long Bay.
