On June 18, the award ceremony of the program "SEA Games 32 Inspiration" organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper with the companionship of Herbalife Vietnam Company, to honor the athletes who inspired throughout the 2023 Regional Sports Festival, as well as create a playground for fans took place at the Stage on Le Loi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

Although the 32nd SEA Games has ended for a month, the memorable images and moments of the regional sports event of the year still linger in the hearts of athletes and fans. The audience must still remember the miraculous race of athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh, the emotional moment of crying in the rain of Cambodian girl Bou Samnang or the victorious smile of Tran Mai Ngoc - the girl who brought the gold medal in table tennis to Vietnam after 26 years, a classic comeback of Vietnamese sports.
These are also the characters that the Organizing Committee of the award - Tuoi Tre newspaper, voted and honored, through the program "SEA Games 32 Inspiration". The program includes 2 contests: Inspirational Characters at SEA Games 32, for athletes and SEA Games in my eyes, for readers. The program is not limited to Vietnamese athletes but is also screened from beautiful images from other sports delegations participating in SEA Games 32.

According to the results of the judges' votes as well as the number of likes on readers' articles, the victory belonged to 3 athletes: Tran Mai Ngoc (table tennis), Nguyen Thi Oanh (athletics) and host country athlete Bou Samnang (athletics).
The award given to Bou Samnang by Tuoi Tre newspaper was enthusiastically received by the Cambodian media. The leading Cambodian online newspaper ThmeyThmey commented: “Bou Samnang was awarded the SEA Games 32 Inspiration Award by Tuoi Tre newspaper. The Vietnamese newspaper attaches great importance to sports news, especially examples of overcoming difficulties, not just medals.” Accompanying Bou Samnang to the program were also Cambodian reporters.

Sharing at the program, Mr. Tran Xuan Toan - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper said: "More than the SEA Games medals, the stories of the athletes at the congress have strongly inspired the community, especially sports fans. Also at the program, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the authors whose winning articles were: The devotion behind the halo (Dong Phuong), What I have not told (Nguyen Thi Hanh Dung), Thank you, Bou Samnang! (Ta Tu Vu), The sparkling medal (Phan Quoc Cuong), Great mothers (Hoai An). Each winning article will receive a prize of 5,000,000 VND.
