The 'most accurate' look at the iPhone 16 Pro

The report suggests a possible explanation for the increased size is that the smaller premium iPhone model needs a periscope camera, which Apple needs more available space inside the phone.

Apple is said to have experimented with a four-button capacitive design but ultimately decided to stick with last year's configuration with a slight change. There will be a capacitive button with force sensing on the right edge of the iPhone 16 Pro series, and it will be called the Capture button. Previous leaks have suggested that this button could be used to record video.

The Capture button will be located below the power button, so 5G mmWave models of the iPhone in the US will have the mmWave antenna moved to the left edge of the phone. Since this new button is capacitive, it will sit flush with the frame and not protrude like the power and volume buttons.
