Golfers enter The American Express 2025 tournament

(Dan Tri) - After the tournaments to start the new year in the Hawaiian Islands, professional golfers have returned to the US mainland to participate in The American Express 2025 tournament.

The American Express 2025 takes place at the PGA West Stadium Course in California (USA). This is a tournament on the PGA Tour (the world's leading prestigious golf tournament system for men, equivalent to the Masters tournaments in tennis).

Participating in this year's tournament are famous golfers such as Sepp Straka (Austria), Tony Finau (USA), Taylor Montgomery (USA), Harris English (USA), Adam Svensson (Canada)...

In particular, the tournament also features the presence of 2021 FedEx Cup play-off champion Patrick Cantlay (USA). He has been one of the world's top golfers in recent years, but in recent times he has not won another title on the PGA Tour.

The American Express 2025 will take place from midnight on January 16 to early morning on January 20 (Vietnam time). The total prize value of this year's tournament is 8.8 million USD (more than 223 billion VND).

This is not a very large number, but it is not small for golf tournaments starting the new year.

In addition, golfers with high rankings at The American Express will receive points to participate in the FedEx Cup play-off golf tournament system, which takes place every fall.
