On the afternoon of May 30, Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, gave gifts and celebrated Children's Day with students of Kim Chinh Kindergarten (Kim Son) on the occasion of International Children's Day, June 1.
Also attending were leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Party Committee Office, and leaders of Kim Son district.
Kim Chinh Kindergarten was established in 1997, with 3 campuses. In the 2023-2024 school year, the school has 373 children/15 classes. Universal education for 5-year-old children is maintained firmly. The school's facilities ensure the care, nurturing and education of children; the campus is spacious, the environment is green-clean-beautiful-friendly. The quality of care, nurturing and education of children has clearly changed: 100% of children going to school are provided with semi-boarding meals, food hygiene and safety is ensured, the rate of children with normal height and weight is 98.4%; the rate of malnourished, underweight and short children is 1.6%.
The school directs 100% of classes to implement the Preschool Education Program, flexibly applying STEM and Montessori education programs. In addition, the school always focuses on life skills education; integrates life skills education, prevention of violence and abuse; ensures children's rights according to the International Convention; helps children develop harmoniously both physically and mentally, fully equipped with knowledge, skills, confidence, agility, and good awareness.
Attending the year-end ceremony and celebrating Children's Day with teachers and students of Kim Chinh Kindergarten, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council presented gifts to teachers and students of the school, encouraging the school to continue to do a good job in caring for, nurturing, and educating children.
On this occasion, Kim Son district leaders also presented gifts to teachers and students of Kim Chinh Kindergarten.

Tay Son Kindergarten is caring for and educating 407 children in 15 classes. At the end of the school year, the year-end assessment results showed that over 95% of children met the requirements of each age group, 85% of children achieved the title of healthy and good children, the rate of malnourished children decreased by 2.9% compared to the beginning of the year. The school was assessed by the Department of Education and Training of Tam Diep city as a top unit in the emulation block for the 2023-2024 school year.
On the occasion of International Children's Day June 1, on behalf of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, Comrade Bui Hoang Ha, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council presented gifts to the children of Tay Son Kindergarten; Tam Diep City leaders also presented gifts to teachers and students of the school.
On the same day, authorized by the provincial leaders, the working delegation of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs visited and presented gifts to children at the provincial Center for Social Protection and Work. Also present were representatives of the Provincial Youth Union.
The Center is currently nurturing and caring for 17 children who are social policy beneficiaries. Over the past time, the Center has fully implemented the care policies for children according to regulations, while creating the best conditions for the children to study, practice and develop comprehensively.
On the occasion of International Children's Day June 1, the delegation of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs presented gifts from the provincial leaders to the children. In addition, the Department's leaders also awarded prizes and gifts to children with good academic performance and those who were good students in the past school year of the Center.
