On September 13, assessing that the weather had stabilized, the transportation system and tourism facilities were safe, the People's Committee of Sa Pa town decided to reopen tourist attractions in the area. The People's Committee of Sa Pa town requested that when tourist areas and attractions are ready to operate, they must commit to ensuring absolute safety for tourists and staff at the locations managed by the unit.

Pioneering in opening to welcome guests on September 13, Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area welcomed the first guests to visit and experience May village, the sightseeing cable car and the spiritual complex, Fansipan flagpole.

On the very first day of reopening, the tourist area welcomed hundreds of visitors to visit and experience, including, fortunately, not only domestic visitors but also many international visitors from Southeast Asia, India, Taiwan... This partly shows the strong attraction of Sun World Fansipan Legend in particular, Sa Pa in general, as well as the trust of visitors in the local post-storm recovery work.

In addition to Sun World Fansipan Legend, other destinations such as Silver Waterfall, Ta Phin Stone Garden, Green Valley, Dreamy Rose Garden, Golden Stream - Love Waterfall, Ham Rong, and Cat Cat will also reopen from September 14, 2024.

As one of the first visitors to return to Sa Pa after the storm, Ms. Mai Phuong (Vietnamese American) shared: "My friends and I had planned to go to Sa Pa before the storm Yagi, but this plan was canceled due to the severe storm and flash floods. However, because we love Sa Pa so much and want to conquer Fansipan peak, and at the same time want to support the people of Sa Pa, we decided to combine a charity trip and a tour of Sa Pa as soon as the weather and roads stabilized. I think that traveling to Sa Pa is also a great way to support the people here to return to normal life after the storm and floods. I hope Sa Pa continues to be an attractive destination, bringing wonderful experiences to visitors."

Ha Long – Quickly "recovering" after the super storm

After the severe impacts of storm No. 3, the government of Ha Long city (Quang Ninh) together with businesses and people quickly restored tourism activities to welcome visitors back.

Authorities have cleared fallen trees, dealt with flooding on roads and reinforced damaged structures. Tourist attractions, piers and coastal areas have also been cleaned up quickly, helping Ha Long get ready to reopen from September 13.

Famous resorts such as Oakwood Ha Long and Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh have completed repairs, restored service quality and landscape, ready to welcome guests in September. In addition, Ha Long International Passenger Port and Van Don International Airport have also reopened to meet the needs of tourists, especially international visitors.
