Nearly 600 households received cash support to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3

During 3 days from March 17 to 19, in the communes of Dong Thinh, Phuc Khanh, Yen Lap district and Tu Hiep commune, Ha Hoa district, the Provincial Red Cross organized a program to distribute unconditional cash to beneficiaries and communicate about clean water and disease prevention in disasters, the program belongs to the Project "Supporting multi-purpose cash distribution for people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 (storm Yagi) and post-storm circulation" with non-refundable aid from the Coca-Cola Foundation.

The sponsor representative symbolically handed over the project implementation money to the leader of the Provincial Red Cross Society.

The amount of money distributed to beneficiaries is calculated at 3 levels, 1,000,000 VND/household; 2,000,000 VND/household and 3,000,000 VND/household to support households affected by storm No. 3 to have more funds to equip essential items for life after the storm. At the program, the representative of the sponsoring unit presented a symbolic amount of 1.7 billion VND to the Provincial Red Cross Society and together with the leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society and local leaders, presented cash to nearly 600 households.

Also in the program, the Provincial Red Cross Society organized communication on clean water hygiene and disease prevention, giving thousands of antibacterial soaps to students of Ha Hoa High School, Yen Lap Ethnic Minority Secondary and High School and local people.
