The female singer shared that the days of filming in the highlands were memorable moments in her career.
After a period of silence to focus on social activities, singer Phuc Anh returns with a new music project called 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. This is Phuc Anh's only music product in 2024.
What's special is that this is a documentary MV recorded by Phuc Anh and his crew during the 7-day relief journey after storm Yagi in Ha Giang, Yen Bai, and Lao Cai.
Phuc Anh shared that the days of filming in the highlands were unforgettable memories in her career. Because the crew set off on the right day of storms and landslides all along the way, there were times when they passed by falling rocks and soil, making everyone in the crew scared and could only pray.
The itinerary also had to change constantly due to landslides, the team had to change direction to other relief points when traffic was cut off. There were some points that could not be reached because the national highway was blocked. Notably, singer Hoang Ton arrived in Ha Giang last in the middle of the night. Due to landslides and fallen trees blocking the road, he had to call the rescue team.
"It rained heavily that night, and it was 1am, so when the crew drove to pick up Ton, everyone was very worried. Luckily, everyone returned safely. Every day, the crew woke up at 5am and ended the day at midnight. It was like that all week, so many people were tired," the female singer said.
After finishing the relief trip and returning to Ho Chi Minh City, all members hoped to return to meet more children and people in the highlands.
Here, the female singer not only met, but also listened to the circumstances of the children. Although the project only lasted a short time, Phuc Anh said she had made many more young friends.
Sharing a memory during the implementation of his project, Phuc Anh said: “When I stopped at Tham Ma slope to film the MV, the girls here made me a flower wreath to wear on my head. I felt the purity and sincerity from the children. Although some of them were a bit shy, after I taught them to dance and sing together, the distance was gone."
Therefore, this music product is a gift that she wants to give to all the friends who have accompanied her in the non-profit project, and to the children and people of all 54 ethnic groups.
Regarding the continuous investment in music products, singer Phuc Anh affirmed that it is a worthy investment. The female singer said that each person when working in the arts will have their own destination.
When she entered the profession, she always hoped that music would be a means and a bridge to help her realize and spread good things to everyone. Because she believes that the origin of music is to help people feel positive motivation, become happy, love and live more meaningfully.
“I live in harmony with nature, believing that everything happens for a reason. Everything I receive is due to the seeds I sow. I try to sow good seeds every day, and if I reap sweet fruit, I will share it with everyone. If the fruit is not sweet, I will accept it and sow better seeds. That's why I feel my life is so carefree," she confided.
