No regrets for missing two shows 'Brother'
* Hello Noo Phuoc Thinh, looking back on the past year, what do you feel you have gained and lost?
- At the end of the year, it seems like everyone asks this question, but actually I don't want to look back because I just want to move forward. The things that I was satisfied with and those that I wasn't satisfied with are in the past, so if I just sit back and look back now, it will be a waste of time. Therefore, when performing anywhere, I still call on everyone to look forward, and if I look back, I will only keep the beautiful memories. I look forward so that I can focus on my artistic activities, do projects, and achieve success.
In the new year, Noo Phuoc Thinh hopes to have more explosive products.
In general, this year, I have had certain achievements as well as luck to still be loved, awaited and supported by many people. But I still do not have explosive personal projects and have not yet confirmed my path. However, I feel lucky that although I am not very active, I am still awaited and supported by everyone and that is my great joy.
* What do you see from the success of current Gen Z singers?
- Young people are developing so well and are changing to have good musical thinking. Therefore, I cannot keep my strengths forever, I want to develop more. Besides, I want to be a little flexible by participating in projects of other units to feel younger and fresher. From there, I can summarize my experiences and give myself directions to change. In addition, thanks to that, I know which aspects I am better and stronger in.
* Did you ever regret not participating in the two "Brother" shows last year?
- Honestly, I don't regret much. Perhaps it's because I think I've been calculating too much for my own project. From the beginning, I decided not to participate, so if I express regret now, it would be meaningless. I only regret that when I witnessed the strong spread of these two programs, I didn't dare to make my own product at that time. I understand the benefits of participating in reality TV and also understand what is best for me when choosing my own path.
The male singer just wants to focus on developing his career instead of thinking about personal love affairs.
* Recently, Noo Phuoc Thinh's humorous personality and quick number jumps have made his fans excited. So who will he most comfortably show off this advantage to?
- As long as it is someone I choose to communicate with, I will be comfortable, the rest I still keep my distance. Actually, I always respect my elders because it does not depend on my position but on my family's education. I always maintain a gentle manner and interact well with everyone. When I perform, I meet young people and they always greet me and show me respect. I really appreciate that because I can see the image of myself in the past.
Don't rest on your laurels
* How do you and your "cultural family" group of close friends behave if some awkward things happen?
- Of course there are things that don't have answers, but I and the people around me are sensitive, so we avoid mentioning difficult things to keep the atmosphere peaceful. Although each person will have their own hidden feelings, the important thing is that we still maintain a normal attitude towards each other. We are all adults, so we know how to behave with each other.
The male singer is grateful that he still has the audience's support even though he doesn't have many activities in 2024.
* Last year, many young singers emerged with salaries that could reach 300 million - 500 million VND, this salary is equal to that of an A-list star who has been active and dedicated for many years. How do you feel?
- Society is developing fast now and there are people who are willing to spend money to satisfy their needs. You earn 400 million VND, 500 million VND but how long can you maintain that level and you need to know how to contribute to be worthy of that salary. However, I want to confirm one thing: I do not know what your salary is on the market and I do not judge anything.
What I want to say here is that you are still young, still contributing with your own strength, but you also have to remember that you need to try harder. Because you still have a long way to go and remember the elimination rule of showbiz because the more developed society is, the faster the elimination. Don't forget that we work in the entertainment industry, it develops continuously and when you accept to appear somewhere, you have to be meticulous. For me, you earning that amount is normal, you are in your time and to get that position, to achieve that salary, you have to try very hard. However, don't forget that others are also developing. Throughout my career, I have always kept in mind that I never rest on my laurels. I always update music trends and maintain my professional ethics to be worthy of the audience's affection.
* What are your plans for performing during Tet?
- In recent years, I have not performed on Tet holiday anymore. During the Western New Year, I am still busy with shows, but during Tet holiday, I want to spend all my time with my family. Starting from the 27th of the Lunar New Year, I stay home until the end of the first day, then I can take shows again.
