At the press conference to launch his new album "Love Garden", singer Tang Duy Tan received a number of questions related to his senior - singer Bich Phuong.
On the afternoon of October 28, singer Tang Duy Tan announced the album Khu vuon tinh after 4 years of preparation. He collaborated with producers Drum7 and 2Pillz, supported by producers Wokeup and Bae Dio.
The ten songs in the album are divided into four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter: Love Garden, Seasickness, Soul Prison, Tonight I Dream of You Again, Lonely Paradise, I've Looped in This Pain, Ikigai, Lock the Door, Where Did the Night Take My Missing Away, and Going to Sleep .
Among them, Ikigai is the only song that Tang Duy Tan sang in duet with Bich Phuong. In Japanese, Ikigai means "goal, reason to live".
In response to the reporter's question: "Why did Tang Duy Tan invite singer Bich Phuong to sing the song Ikigai instead of another song? Are you implying that Bich Phuong is your 'reason for living'?", the male singer was confused.

Tang Duy Tan shared the process of creating and perfecting the song with the producers. He named it Ikigai because he is a big fan of Japanese animation, especially stories about the main character searching for the meaning of life.
"The song was called Ikigai before, but after I tried singing it, I felt it was a bit empty and monotonous, so I looked for a female singer to sing with me. It's simple, Ms. Bich Phuong's voice suits me. Besides, I helped her earlier this year, so now she's supporting me again," he explained.
The ten songs in the album Love Garden were born from different levels of emotions in Tang Duy Tan, from an innocent boy to a mature artist after 4 years of moving to the South.
He plans to release 4 MVs corresponding to 4 seasons and MV Ikigai filmed with singer Bich Phuong.
Not only making music for young audiences, Tang Duy Tan also borrowed the idea of the Bao Thanh Thien movie soundtrack as material to compose the song Nhap Jail of the Soul for audiences of the same generation as his parents.
"The album is not just a comeback product but also represents my journey to find myself in music. I have been absent for nearly a year just to search for a picture that can clearly describe the artistic world inside me," he confided.
Tang Duy Tan and the management company invested heavily in the product. Four MVs were produced in the North and South with a crew of nearly 100 people.
