On December 11, Mr. Phan Tien Lam, Principal of Quang Phuc Primary School No. 1 (Quang Phuc Ward, Ba Don Town, Quang Binh), said that after 8 days of teaching and learning after the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday, only 1 second grade student of Tan My satellite school came to the main school to continue studying.
Quang Phuc Ward People's Committee said that the local government has set up 6 teams, with more than 40 people including police, border guards, women's cadres, veterans, Youth Union, residential groups and homeroom teachers to go to each house to propagate, mobilize, explain to parents to understand, and bring their children to school on schedule.
For elderly or sick parents, the locality is ready to arrange staff to pick up and drop off students...
However, out of 154 students who did not come to the main school to study after Tet, only 1 student has been persuaded by the working groups.

Mr. Dinh Thieu Son, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Don Town, said that he had sent a document to the locality requesting a commitment to maintain the status quo of the Tan My satellite school (which is deteriorating and must be closed); when funding is available, there are interested investors or socialized funds, the new construction will be implemented immediately.
Previously, as Thanh Nien reported, since after the Lunar New Year, more than 150 students of Quang Phuc Primary School No. 1 still did not go to class. These are the students at Tan My satellite location (Quang Phuc Primary School No. 1).
The children were taken to school by their parents but had to stand outside the school because the school had closed (to transfer all students to the main school about 2 km away). The parents knew that the school had closed but they opposed this policy.
According to the education sector and local authorities, the reason for temporarily closing Tan My retail location in January 2025 is because the school is seriously degraded and does not ensure safety for teaching and learning.
