NDO - Che Tao Primary and Secondary Boarding School has 554 students, of which 319 are primary school students. Thanks to state investment, boarding students have a better life than at home, and are taken care of at school. In order to build a "Happy School", in addition to ensuring a safe learning environment, teachers have tried to ensure meals are served in the right quantity and ensure food hygiene and safety.
Che Tao is a particularly difficult commune of Mu Cang Chai district (Yen Bai), nearly 240km from Yen Bai city, of which nearly 40km from Mu Cang Chai town, passing Hang Giang peak and Che Tao peak with primeval forest to reach the commune center.
Originally the most difficult area of Yen Bai province, currently only 2/6 villages have electricity. More than two months ago, Viettel was able to install telephone coverage towers for three villages: Hang Tay, Ke Ca, and Pu Va. The lives of the H'Mong people here are still full of difficulties.

It turned out that from the difficulties, there was a good way of doing things in the highlands, with the goal of all for the beloved students.

Giang Thi Dua, a third grader, lives more than 15km from school and attends a boarding school all week, only on Friday afternoons does her father pick her up to go home. When asked about fresh meals with added meat, she honestly said: At home, only on Tet and the New Rice Festival does my father slaughter a pig and have so much meat to eat like this. I would like to thank the teachers for bringing joy to our school and students.
Seeing the children enjoying the communal meal with added meat, the benefactors felt happier and reminded them to come back next time, bringing charitable meals to the children in this mountainous area.
Mr. Mua A Sua, who was just elected by the People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune, excitedly said that the people of Che Tao commune are very studious, and there are no longer children of school age who stay home and do not go to school like before.
The clans' education promotion association supports each other so that their children can go to school. Many people have achieved success at the provincial and central levels. Many doctors, engineers, and officers in the armed forces have all achieved success through education.
Currently, the commune's ethnic boarding school with more than 500 students has a spacious classroom and kitchen, clean and tidy kitchen and accommodation, and a food storage cabinet for verification. Therefore, for many consecutive years, the school has not had any food poisoning.
