Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City is part of a series of events in the city to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
According to information from the City Department of Culture and Sports, Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 will have some highlights such as: The Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Department of Publishing, Printing and Distribution (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) will organize a national opening ceremony in the city; display and introduce versions of the work Duong Kach Menh and newly published and reprinted books to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.
In addition, during the 3 days of activities, at the Paris Commune Square stage and Ho Chi Minh City Book Street, there will be 18 exchange and book introduction programs. In which, the Department of Culture and Sports will preside over and coordinate with the city's publishing houses and book distributors to organize exchange programs and introduce newly published books to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
Specifically, some typical programs will take place such as: Exchange program of the book series "Saigon-Ho Chi Minh City Heritage" and French-Indochinese Architecture - Traces of "Saigon-Pearl of the Far East"; exchange program, book launch "Reading the history of Saigon-Ho Chi Minh City in one breath"; exchange program to launch the book "From Ben Hai River to Independence Palace"; exchange program to launch the book "100 years of Tan Son Nhat Airport" ...

Within the framework of the event, the Organizing Committee will display and exhibit documents and publications on the theme "Ho Chi Minh Campaign - Symbol of revolutionary heroism" and the postage stamp set "Historical Ho Chi Minh Campaign on Vietnamese and world postage stamps".
