LECTURER WHO WON THE OLYMPIC GOLDEN MEDAL , WORLD C UP CHAMPION
General Secretary of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation Le Tri Truong said that one of the weaknesses of Vietnamese volleyball is the coaching team, because they mainly rely on personal experience and do not have modern, scientific methods. Therefore, the volleyball coaching training course that took place for nearly a week in Bac Ninh, organized by the Olympic Solidarity Fund in collaboration with the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV), is a valuable opportunity for Vietnamese coaches to supplement their knowledge and coaching methods. "After each training course, we issue certificates to coaches and this is the basis for classifying Vietnamese volleyball coaches who have just completed level 1 and level 2. Coaches who have completed level 2 will have the opportunity to attend international coaching training courses," said Mr. Truong.

Notably, the 60 coaches attending the course were instructed by two leading experts in world volleyball, Ms. Feng Kun and Mr. Kiatitipong. Lecturer Feng Kun is a former world number 1 setter, who won the gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics with the Chinese volleyball team, the 2003 World Cup and many other prestigious titles. Mr. Kiatitipong is a veteran coach, who led the Thai volleyball team.
Mrs. Feng Kun is "teaching"
Also participating in this training course, former player Bui Thi Hue and her husband, Coach Tran Van Giap, shared that the things they learned from the world's leading volleyball experts and colleagues were extremely useful. "It is an honor to have the couple - the world's best former setter Feng Kun and Coach Kiatitipong - impart their coaching experience. These are very valuable experiences for Vietnamese volleyball coaches, especially young coaches like me," said Bui Thi Hue.
SHARE EXPERIENCES IN TOP COMPETITION
Not only teaching and imparting experience to Vietnamese volleyball coaches, including the men's team coach Tran Dinh Tien and the women's team coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet, expert Feng Kun and his wife are also very enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
Both experts came to the place where the Vietnamese women's team was practicing to prepare for the World Club Volleyball Championship. Ms. Feng Kun personally instructed the setter duo of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, Doan Thi Lam Oanh and Nguyen Thi Kim Thoa. The learning opportunity was very valuable for the two players in Vietnam before the biggest tournament of the year taking place in China. The experts shared their competition experiences, spread spiritual values, and advised the Vietnamese girls on their professional strengths that they should promote.
Vietnam women's volleyball team to attend world tournament
On December 11, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team will go to Hangzhou (China) to compete in the Women's Club Volleyball World Cup. According to the draw results, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, playing for Sport Center 1 Club, is in the same group with very strong teams such as VakifBank SK (Türkiye), Dentil Praia Clube (Brazil). It is a big disadvantage for the Vietnamese volleyball team when the number 1 hitter Tran Thi Thanh Thuy is not present because she is competing abroad in Japan, and another highly rated hitter, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen, also asked not to participate for personal reasons. Therefore, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet has to rely on the explosive ability of the remaining faces such as Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh, Tran Tu Linh, Nguyen Thi Trinh, Bich Thuy, Lam Oanh, Nhu Quynh.
