Siemens, one of the world's largest technology corporations, and FPT, a global technology corporation, have signed a memorandum of understanding to bring high technology into the manufacturing sector, boost semiconductor chip production, and help organizations and businesses in Vietnam and around the world transform digitally.
Under the agreement, the two sides will cooperate to develop sustainable infrastructure and industry in Vietnam.
Specifically, FPT and Siemens will join hands to develop in the following areas: Smart buildings, green and smart data centers; Providing digital industrial solutions; Developing automotive software. This cooperation is consistent with the position, capacity and experience of both parties, opening up new business opportunities as well as supporting Siemens and FPT's global customers to transform digitally more strongly and effectively.
In the infrastructure sector, Siemens aims to become a global supplier for FPT in projects to build smart infrastructure and data centers with smart infrastructure products and solutions. This cooperation will help FPT take advantage of Siemens' advanced solutions to support global customers.
In the digital transformation sector, the two sides provide an ecosystem of digital transformation services and products for each side as well as each other's customers. Siemens wants FPT to join Siemens' Xcelerator ecosystem to accelerate the digital transformation process with solutions and applications on Siemens' technology platform....
At the same time, FPT wishes to become a global partner (Global SI) to deploy Mendix - Siemens' world's No. 1 artificial intelligence and low-code platform to make application development for businesses easier. Based on this platform, FPT will work with Siemens to provide innovative solutions to customers in many different industries.
FPT said that FPT also hopes to supply semiconductor chips to Siemens in the future and hopes that Siemens will support FPT engineers to participate in advanced training courses, equipping them with the necessary skills and expertise in semiconductor chip design and manufacturing to excel in this dynamic industrial sector.
Mr. Roland Busch, Chairman and CEO of Siemens AG, affirmed that FPT and Siemens have many things in common. Siemens has experience in the semiconductor chip sector and is confident that it can support you with technologies in this sector. Besides, Siemens has many other sectors such as building smart infrastructure, digital industrial solutions, etc.
