"When taking up the position at the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Health invited the Prime Minister to visit the second facility of these two hospitals. On that basis, the Prime Minister established a working group headed by me to resolve outstanding issues," Minister Dao Hong Lan said at a press conference on the afternoon of June 14.

Minister Dao Hong Lan said that recently, the working group has reviewed all legal regulations, the current status of the implementation of these hospitals, and the bidding packages. Up to now, the basic tasks for the implementation of construction and installation have been achieved at a very high level, 80-90%. However, there are still problems in the payment process for these projects.
"Currently, the solution is being reported to the competent authorities. This is not an easy task. There are some issues that we do not have legal regulations for, so we need to report to the competent authorities for resolution according to regulations," the Minister of Health informed.
The Ministry of Health leader said that a working group consisting of members of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Finance, and the Government Office has developed a plan to report to the Government to propose solutions to quickly put these hospitals into use. Currently, Viet Duc Hospital and Bach Mai Hospital are ready to receive these facilities.
