Book series celebrating 50 years of national reunification

The commemorative book series is divided into four main groups, providing a multi-dimensional perspective on history, culture and figures who made important contributions to the process of national liberation and development.

Standing out in the Ho Chi Minh Heritage book group is the publication Uncle Ho, the name that illuminates Vietnam's beauty - the English version of the book of photos and documents of the most beautiful Vietnam named Uncle Ho . This work not only presents more than 150 precious photos and documents in chronological order but also updates information about the important milestones of the country since liberation until now.

Besides, the book For Independence, Freedom, and Socialism, which collects Uncle Ho's speeches and writings from 1920 to 1969, is a valuable document on revolutionary theory and practice.

The books were released to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

The group of books about famous people introduces characters who have made important contributions to the South and the whole country such as: Vo Van Kiet - the firelighter, Nguyen Van Linh - journey with history, Tran Van Giau - a hundred-year mark and Tran Bach Dang - Life and memories. These works help readers understand more deeply about the leaders who played an important role in the liberation and construction of the country.

Particularly attractive in the group of cultural, geographical and historical books are works about war and Saigon such as Lucky Spies, From Buon Ma Thuot to Saigon, Tank Soldier's Notes - Journey to the Independence Palace, Tanks in the War in Vietnam, Saigon Commandos and Memories of Saigon during the War.

The book Questions and Answers on the Geography of Saigon - Gia Dinh by researcher Nguyen Dinh Dau introduces an overview of the natural geography, economy, political and administrative history of the city from the 17th century to 1975 through more than 70 questions and answers.

Tre Publishing House also republished two classic works, Saigon in the past and Saigon tap pin lu by Vuong Hong Sen. In addition, there is a set of books : Vietnamese History Q&A , consisting of 10 volumes, each volume has 100 questions and answers corresponding to a historical period, in which volume 10 has just been added for the period from 1975 to the present.

In the field of literature, two outstanding book series are Van bai lat ngua by Nguyen Truong Thien Ly (reprinted in 6 volumes, new cover with convenient boxset), inspired by the life of intelligence hero Pham Ngoc Thao and Literature of the Southern Six Provinces by Nguyen Van Hau.
