Sharing at the ceremony, Dr. Le Truong Son, Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, said that last school year, the school had completed important leadership positions in the school's administrative apparatus.

The school's undergraduate training programs have been accredited according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training, and at the same time, postgraduate programs are accredited according to FIBAA international standards.
Dr. Le Truong Son said he will strengthen and expand international cooperation in training and scientific research.
"In the 2024-2025 school year, the school has enrolled and opened a joint program to train bachelor of law with the University of Arizona (USA), and opened the 13th course of the Master of Law program in conjunction with the University of Toulouse (France). Up to now, there have been more than 350 students in Vietnam and other countries in the Francophone community such as France, Spain, Italy, Canada, Congo, Lebanon, Peru, New Zealand, Egypt... studying this program" - Dr. Son said.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Van Phuc said that Ho Chi Minh City University of Law must maintain its role as a key school for training legal officials; a leading center for legal research and dissemination among legal training institutions in Vietnam, playing a leading role in the system of law training institutions nationwide, and being a prestigious law training institution in Southeast Asia and the world.
In the new school year, Deputy Minister Phuc set out five tasks for Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, including: consolidating and perfecting the organizational structure and developing a team of quality-assured lecturers; improving training quality associated with expanding the scale of training and training sectors to meet the needs of society; promoting scientific research, studying the country's legal issues and policy advice; applying information technology and digital transformation; especially, increasing investment in facilities, and soon completing the construction of a new training facility in Long Phuoc ward, Thu Duc city.
In the context of the 4th industrial revolution, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Van Phuc hopes that students will master advances in science and technology, innovation and creativity in learning.

Sharing about the project to establish a new campus of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, Mr. Duong Ngoc Hai, Permanent Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, said that the city's leaders have received proposals and recommendations from the school regarding difficulties in the process of implementing the project.
According to Mr. Hai, the new project of the school is suitable for the planning of the eastern education and training center cluster - Thu Duc City, including Ho Chi Minh City National University and some facilities in Thu Duc City. This education center cluster promises to contribute to becoming a driving force for the development of the eastern region, supporting, interacting, and providing human resources for high-tech zones.
"The city is developing and implementing the Project to adjust the general planning of Ho Chi Minh City construction until 2040, with a vision to 2060. This project is built to deploy the planning of the university education network in Ho Chi Minh City until 2040, with a vision to 2060, to help schools build development strategies, invest in facilities and infrastructure according to international integration requirements," Mr. Hai added.
Mr. Hai hopes that the school will be more proactive and active in participating with the city in researching and perfecting legal regulations.
