At 9am, the inner city sky continued to be foggy. Traffic moved slowly on the Nghi Tam - Yen Phu overpass in poor visibility conditions.

According to information from the Air Visual application (which monitors air quality worldwide), the average air quality index (AQI) of Hanoi is at the purple level (very harmful to health), with the index at 220.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that today, the North will continue to have light rain in some places, fog in the early morning and at night, and less clouds in the afternoon, with sunshine.

By around 10am, the fog showed no signs of abating on the streets of the inner city.
