On the afternoon of February 20, at the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command , Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of Military Region 7 and Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc , acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Military Party Committee, chaired the conference to hand over the position of Commander of the Provincial Military Command. Attending were Mr. Tran Hong Thai , Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee.

According to the decision of the Ministry of National Defense , Colonel Nguyen Binh Son, former Commander of the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command, has retired from work, waiting to retire from active service according to the regime. Colonel Le Anh Vuong, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command, has been assigned to take charge of the Commander of the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc highly appreciated the sense of responsibility , lifestyle, style and contributions of Colonel Nguyen Binh Son in effectively organizing and implementing local defense and military tasks, building a national defense associated with people's security posture, and building the province's armed forces to be increasingly strong in all aspects.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang expressed his confidence that Colonel Le Anh Vuong is worthy of the new position assigned to him and affirmed that Colonel Le Anh Vuong is a soldier with good moral qualities, well-trained, knowledgeable about the locality, matured from the grassroots, and always completes all tasks well.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang asked Colonel Le Anh Vuong to continue to make efforts to better fulfill local military and defense tasks.
