Learning about the reality at the General Staff (Military Command of Ninh Giang district), the agency chosen to build a comprehensively strong "Exemplary, typical" point of the unit, we witnessed the enthusiastic and determined working spirit of the officers and employees here. Major Nguyen Van Thuong, Assistant to the General Staff, was assigned by the Party Committee and the unit's commander to participate in serving the provincial defense area exercise in 2023. The workload was large and intertwined, so right after practicing with the participating units, Major Nguyen Van Thuong started to build a plan to practice changing the unit's combat readiness status.

Talking to us, Mr. Thuong shared: “To build a disciplined and exemplary agency, we always adhere to the spirit of “Doing all the work, not all the hours”. Every day, in addition to performing the task of preparing for the provincial defense area drill, we also perform professional tasks at the agency, at the same time monitoring and guiding communes and towns to organize training according to the plan assigned from the beginning of the year. Therefore, we all strive to complete the assigned tasks”.

Ninh Giang District Military Command organized a sports festival to inspect and evaluate the results of militia training in 2023.

It is known that in 2020, the Ninh Giang District Military Command was assigned by the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command to build a comprehensively strong "Exemplary and typical" unit. Based on the goals and targets assigned by the superiors and the actual situation of the district's armed forces, the District Military Party Committee issued a thematic resolution, implementing well the propaganda and education work, combining the renovation of hundreds of billboards and posters, building a standard, green, clean and beautiful environmental landscape.

In addition, the Party Committee and the District Military Command have led and directed the agencies and units of the district's armed forces to compete to improve the quality and effectiveness of implementing the "Three Breakthroughs" in the spirit of the Resolution of the 10th Military Party Congress. Actively innovate the forms and methods of political education for the subjects. Promote the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers" associated with the Emulation Movement to Win. From the beginning of 2023 to now, the unit has carried out well the work of political education and legal education for the subjects, with over 99% of the participating staff. All officers and employees have a high sense of responsibility in performing their duties, with no cases of shirking their duties.

In building a regular order and training discipline, the District Military Command has directed the effective implementation of propaganda, dissemination, legal education, improving the level of regularity and discipline for officers and soldiers. Strictly maintain discipline in the district's armed forces and all activities of officers and soldiers. Up to now, there have been no serious violations of discipline, incidents affecting the nature and tradition of the army, no incidents of unsafety in training, work, daily life and traffic participation; promote democracy to improve the quality of self-criticism and criticism. At the same time, deploy 100% of officers and employees to sign emulation covenants to strictly comply with military discipline and state laws, maintain good military-civilian relations, coordinate to grasp the local situation, maintain political security, social order and safety.

According to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Phuong Nam, member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Commander of the Ninh Giang District Military Command, determining that building a strong, comprehensive, "exemplary, typical" model unit must be solid from the base, substantial, and effective, in the past time, the Party Committee and the District Military Command have done a good job of advising the District Party Committee to issue resolutions to lead and direct local defense and military work; proactively developing plans for combat advice, training, and building militia and self-defense forces, and reserve mobilization forces.

Along with that, the District Military Command focuses on improving the quality of training, qualifications and combat readiness of the local armed forces. Organizing training according to the motto "Basic, practical, solid" for each subject; in which, focusing on innovation to improve the quality of cadre training. Emphasizing synchronous, in-depth training, focusing on practice; training according to tasks, situations and combat methods; increasing night training and physical training.

In the first 6 months of 2023, the number of troops participating in training always reached 98% or more, nearly 50% of militia and self-defense bases completed the training program; the inspection results showed that 100% met the requirements, over 75% were good and excellent. The reserve mobilization force was regularly re-inspected and tested for combat readiness, completing 100% of the recruitment and conscription targets, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with the law. In 2023, the District Military Command was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Military Region 3 Command for its outstanding achievements in the recruitment and conscription of citizens.

The above results are an important basis for the Ninh Giang District Military to successfully complete local defense and military tasks, strive to build the District Military Party Committee to excellently complete its tasks, and become a comprehensively strong unit "Exemplary and typical".
