According to a representative of the People's Committee of Dan Phuong district (Hanoi), this unit has sent an official dispatch to news agencies and newspapers, affirming that in the district, there have been no cases of students being poisoned by food due to the use of fresh milk and yogurt products.
The document of the People's Committee of Dan Phuong district stated that recently, social networks reported that a number of students had stomach aches and suspected poisoning due to milk at schools in the district. Specifically, parents in Tan Lap commune, Dan Phuong district (Hanoi) reported that their children had stomach aches and diarrhea due to drinking milk (from Nui Tan Ba Vi Milk Joint Stock Company) at school. The authorities have taken samples and have just announced the test results of these milk samples.
Specifically, the People's Committee of Dan Phuong district has inspected and reviewed to confirm that there were no cases of food poisoning in the boarding schools. The People's Committee of the district has also established an interdisciplinary team to randomly sample fresh milk and yogurt products of Nui Tan Ba Vi Milk Joint Stock Company for testing at the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Control, Ministry of Health.
Test results showed that the fresh milk and yogurt samples met the standards according to national standards QCVN 5-5:2010/BYT and 5-1:2010/BYT. A representative of the People's Committee of Dan Phuong district affirmed that the public opinion about food poisoning at schools in the area was not true.
