After more than 4 years of implementing the Program, Ba Vi district has achieved many positive results. Mountainous communes have been invested in improving essential infrastructure systems to serve production and people's lives. To date, the poverty rate has been zero.

To implement the Program, from 2021 to present, the city has provided funding of VND 1,326,970 million, the district has provided funding of VND 19,399 million for a total of 87 projects. On that basis, the district has arranged adequate basic funding to promptly implement the Program's projects.

Socialization work to mobilize resources contributed by organizations, businesses, individuals and communities has been actively implemented. However, the allocation of funds compared to the needs of the Program and Project is still slow.

Vice Chairman of Ba Vi District People's Committee Nguyen Duc Anh said that according to the Public Investment Plan for the period 2021-2025, the city has approved a total of 87 projects and plans to allocate a total investment of VND 1,326,870 million to build infrastructure in mountainous communes of Ba Vi District. Currently, Ba Vi district has 52 completed projects handed over and put into use, of which 31 projects have been approved for final settlement, 7 projects are completing procedures for handover and put into use, 24 projects are continuing construction. In 2025, the district has 4 new projects being implemented and 4 projects have not yet started construction.

Specifically, investing in infrastructure construction, supporting production development, diversifying livelihoods, supporting vocational training for rural workers... thereby contributing to ensuring social security, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty, improving the lives of all economic and social classes of people in general and groups of the poor, near-poor, ethnic minorities, and very small minorities in particular.

In particular, the city has set a high political determination, striving to reach the finish line 5 years ahead of the whole country, so completing the goals of the Program is very important. This requires the city's mountainous districts, including Ba Vi, to focus on leadership, direction, and implementation of solutions to complete the targets according to the plan.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, comrade Nguyen Nguyen Quan requested relevant units of the district to focus on disbursing capital for projects that have been allocated; for projects that are behind schedule, it is necessary to clarify the causes in order to have timely solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles. Thereby contributing to the effective implementation of the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the period 2021-2030.
