On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (January 18, 1950 - January 18, 2025) and in response to the Vietnam - China Humanitarian Exchange Year, on the afternoon of April 14, Vietnam Television (VTV) and China Central Radio and Television (CMG) jointly held a ceremony to announce the VTV - CMG media cooperation and introduce key media projects for the 2025 - 2026 period.

The specific cooperation projects between VTV and CMG on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the Vietnam-China Cultural Exchange Year are among the activities of important political, diplomatic and media significance, contributing to concretizing the common perception between the senior leaders of the two parties and two countries, while promoting exchanges, cooperation and mutual understanding between the people of the two countries through diverse and modern television products and cultural and artistic content.

Speaking at the program, General Director of Vietnam Television Nguyen Thanh Lam affirmed that through cooperation projects in producing documentaries, art exchange programs, thematic seminars, and multi-platform digital content cooperation, the two national television stations not only promote cultural exchanges, but also create opportunities for the Vietnamese and Chinese people to access and explore each other's cultural values, traditions, and modern achievements. This not only enriches people's knowledge but also contributes to building a solid foundation for a lasting friendship between the two countries.

Sharing the same view, General Director and Editor-in-Chief of China Central Radio and Television Shen Haixiong said that this year, China Central Radio and Television and Vietnam Television will continue to cooperate in aspects such as content sharing, production cooperation, staff exchange, technical exchange, etc. and organize many humanistic exchange activities so that the small flow of cooperation and exchange between the media agencies of the two countries will form a large river of China-Vietnam friendly exchange.

In the spirit of long-term and effective cooperation, VTV and CMG agreed to deploy a series of outstanding communication activities in 2025 - 2026, notably the joint production of a series of programs on technology development, artificial intelligence, urban infrastructure and programs that comprehensively reflect the typical political, cultural and social milestones of the two countries.
Important events such as visits by high-ranking leaders of the two parties and countries, important conferences, strategic cooperation and people-to-people exchanges will be given priority for timely and in-depth coverage. The programs will be broadcast on national television channels and digital platforms, ensuring wide dissemination to the masses of the two countries.

VTV and CMG agreed to strongly promote the exchange of television content, aiming to introduce works that reflect the cultural depth, national identity and outstanding development achievements of each country. Documentaries, television series, and special reports on history, places, people and innovation will be prioritized in the exchange plan, so that the people of the two countries can better understand each other, thereby arousing empathy, respect and strengthening solidarity between the two long-standing cultures in the Asian region.
A highlight of the series of collaborative activities is the art exchange program between Vietnamese and Chinese artists. The event will bring together many prestigious names, representing the traditional and contemporary art fields of each country.
VTV and CMG will seek cooperation opportunities in the field of new media, including content production and distribution on digital platforms. To deepen the understanding of each country's culture, especially for the younger generation, VTV and CMG will jointly produce the program "Journey of Exchange between Vietnamese and Chinese Young Reporters"...
