The vice president’s team entered August with $377 million in cash from new donors and Democrats, $50 million more than the Trump campaign’s $327 million.

Voter enthusiasm for Harris continued in August, with many small donations coming in as thousands attended her rallies in states across the country, Reuters reported.
On the first night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago (USA) on August 20, President Biden highlighted his achievements during his last term, and called on voters to "fuel" Ms. Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz in the November election.
Former President Barack Obama, who has a strong record in fundraising, also spoke at the convention. He had previously attended two fundraisers with President Biden and called for more support for Harris.
