Ms. Cong Nu Hoang Anh, the late artist's daughter, said that although he was very famous for his paintings of Hanoi's Old Quarter, in reality there are not many works about Hanoi's Old Quarter left. However, the family has preserved many works from the last century. "Some of these works had to be sent from Sweden in time for the opening of the Disa Cultural Space," Ms. Hoang Anh said.

She added that there are two special works on display at the Disa cultural space this time. The largest is Hanoi Autumn Street , and the most special is Street during the Open Door period .

"People say that old things are always beautiful. But my father always has the view that we must surpass our own threshold. The painting Open Street has details like the sign 'massage, long-term eyelash extensions' next to the temple, and the image of a quiet monk. That is the beauty, the goodness that a person like my father loves very much," said Ms. Hoang Anh.

Meanwhile, the painting " Autumn Streets of Hanoi" is typical of the street style of painter Cong Quoc Ha. "It was painted during a period of 10 years when he rarely painted, so it has a lot of emotion. People say autumn is sad, but Cong Quoc Ha's street paintings are never sad," said Ms. Hoang Anh.
