On June 19, sharing with Thanh Nien Newspaper reporters, Ms. Dam Bich Thuy, founding President of Fulbright University Vietnam, said that from this point on, she will officially assume the role of President of the Advisory Board of the Edison Inter-level School System (Hanoi).

Ms. Thuy said her upcoming job at Edison will mainly be as an advisor, giving advice to help the school develop in the direction of liberal education.
The announcement from Edison School's leadership also said that in her new role, Ms. Thuy will lead the Advisory Council, which includes education experts, business people, social activists... who are passionate about education and want to contribute to efforts to expand access to advanced, internationally integrated education programs for Vietnamese students.
"To me, education is a very interesting job because we can all participate in that process from the moment we wake up until we fall asleep at the end of the day. It is also an activity that has the most profound impact on each individual as well as the whole country," Ms. Thuy explained why she continues to be involved in education after resigning from the position of Founding President of Fulbright University Vietnam at the end of June after 8 years of commitment.
Edison Inter-level School System was established in 2017 with two campuses in Ecopark Urban Area, Hung Yen and Mailand Urban Area, Hanoi with nearly 2,000 students. Edison is one of the first 12 global typical schools (Microsoft Showcase School) in Vietnam.

Previously, Equest Education also announced that Ms. Dam Bich Thuy will join the organization's Board of Directors as an independent member and play an important role in shaping the future of the higher education models that the organization is pursuing, including efforts to expand the 4-year American university program Broward College nationwide.
Ms. Dam Bich Thuy was born in 1961, graduated with a Master's degree in Management from Harvard University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania (USA). In 1996, after graduating from the Wharton School of Business, she joined ANZ Bank in Singapore to support the establishment and operation of ANZ Bank's investment division in Asia. At ANZ Bank in Singapore, she held several positions such as Director of Oil and Gas Project Finance, Head of ANZ's Resource Management Department for the whole of Asia, and Director of Development for Southeast Asia. In 2005, she was appointed General Director of ANZ Vietnam, becoming the first Vietnamese person to lead the operations of an international bank in the country. Ms. Thuy held this position until 2015.
In 2016, Ms. Dam Bich Thuy became the founding President of Fulbright University Vietnam when the project was licensed by the Vietnamese Government. On June 24, she will attend the final graduation ceremony of students as the school's founding President.
