Arsenal discuss Douglas Luiz transfer

Arsenal officials hope to soon reach common ground with Aston Villa in the transfer discussion process for Douglas Luiz.

Arsenal are about to part ways with Thomas Partey. Meanwhile, Jorginho is not a long-term solution at the Emirates Stadium.

Therefore, Arsenal's sports department is trying to speed up the plan to recruit Douglas Luiz, one of the most active midfielders in the Premier League.

Douglas Luiz has a contract with Aston Villa until 2026 and manager Unai Emery is not keen on selling him. However, if Arsenal make an attractive offer, it will be a different story.

The current Brazilian environment at Arsenal promises to help Douglas Luiz quickly integrate and become an important part of coach Mikel Arteta's system.

Arsenal looking to sell Kai Havertz

Arsenal chiefs are looking to offload Kai Havertz just months after his £65m move from Chelsea.

The German striker was sought after by coach Mikel Arteta in the summer after playing for the Stamford Bridge team for three seasons.

The Spanish strategist believes that Havertz can shine in a midfield role instead of playing high up the attack.

However, in 19 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners, Kai Havertz has only scored one goal and one assist.

Arsenal are reportedly looking to sign Kai Havertz when the transfer window opens, and are willing to cut their losses at £40m.

In another development, former midfielder Jermaine Pennant called on coach Arteta to find a replacement immediately, with the top target being Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz.

The 20-year-old midfielder has scored six goals and provided 10 assists in 17 appearances this season, helping Xabi Alonso's side climb to the top of the Bundesliga.

However, Arsenal will have to spend at least £74m to convince Leverkusen to sell Wirtz - who is also in the sights of Liverpool and Chelsea.

Pennant told King Casino Bonus: "I need to talk about Kai Havertz. The transfer seems to have failed.

The club and the coaching staff will give him time to adapt but now it's over. Kai Havertz was a disappointment.

I don't understand what he brings to the team when he can't score or assist. It's strange because coach Arteta still has blind faith in Havertz."

Many Premier League clubs are interested in Andre Trindade

According to sources from Brazil, MU representatives are promoting negotiations with Fluminense about the transfer of young midfielder Andre Trindade.

Andre has emerged as one of Brazil's most promising talents. He recently captained Fluminense to their first Copa Libertadores title in history.

Coach Fernando Diniz is the one who led Andre at Fluminense, and he is also the one who turned him into a new link in the Brazilian squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Andre is currently replacing the injured Casemiro in the "Selecao". In the long term, MU also wants this 22-year-old player to replace the former Real Madrid midfielder who is declining quite quickly.

In addition to MU, English football clubs such as Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are also sending scouts to closely monitor Andre.
