To date, the project has been implemented in more than 4,300 primary boarding schools in provinces and cities nationwide, providing nutritionally balanced lunches and educating about nutrition and food knowledge to more than 1.9 million students.

From the end of 2023, the School Meals project will move to phase 2, expanding the provision of nutritionally balanced menus to meal providers that schools are cooperating with, serving students in schools without on-site kitchens, thereby expanding the number of students receiving benefits from the project.

Another program is the Maternal and Child Nutrition Program. Since December 2020, Ajinomoto has coordinated with the Department of Maternal and Child Health, the National Institute of Nutrition - Ministry of Health to deploy the Program nationwide, through the software "Building a balanced nutritional menu for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and children 7-60 months old", the goal is to contribute to the health care of mothers and children.

The software provides thousands of nutritionally balanced menus for mothers and children under 5 years old, with more than 2,500 dishes researched and developed for each stage, for example, pregnant mothers in the first 6 months need 3 main meals and 2 snacks/day, with the amount of calories per meal according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health.

For pregnant mothers in the last 3 months of pregnancy and breastfeeding mothers, the required number of meals per day is 6 meals (3 main meals and 3 side meals).

This software also provides tools for monitoring and taking care of the health of mothers and babies. Users only need to register an account at www.dinhduongmevabe.com.vn to be able to use the features. The program has been widely deployed in obstetrics and pediatrics hospitals and obstetrics and pediatrics departments, general hospitals in 54 provinces and cities nationwide.
