Sharing at the recent PropertyGuru Vietnam Real Estate Awards 2024 Gala Night and Awards Ceremony, Mr. Bach Duong, General Director of Batdongsan.com.vn (a member of PropertyGuru Group) commented: “In October 2024, the demand for real estate in Vietnam increased by 22% compared to the same period last year, the number of real estate listings, which partly reflects the supply, also increased by 13%. The market has recovered and buyers' tastes have gradually changed, they are not only interested in price and location but also pay attention to the reputation, financial potential and project implementation capabilities of investors. The PropertyGuru Vietnam Real Estate Awards is an opportunity for buyers to have more information about quality products from reputable investors”.
Mr. Bach Duong added that potential buyers of real estate in the near future are young families, especially newlywed couples.
This year’s Gala Night marks the 10th anniversary of the PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards. First held in 2015, the event has become one of the most prestigious awards in the real estate industry.
To celebrate this special milestone, the 2024 program will for the first time award the Real Estate Developer of the Decade, honoring outstanding developers through previous seasons such as CapitaLand Development (Vietnam); Ecopark; Gamuda Land; Keppel Vietnam; Khang Dien House Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company; ParkCity Group; Phu Long Real Estate Joint Stock Company and Son Kim Real Estate Joint Stock Company.
In addition, the ceremony also honored the best units in the industrial real estate segment. In particular, Core5 Vietnam, a member of Indochina Kajima, won the title of Best Industrial Real Estate Developer. The honored industrial projects include Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park (Aurora IP) of Cat Tuong Real Estate Group Joint Stock Company and SLP Park Long Hau of SEA Logistics (VN) Company Limited.
Another notable milestone was the launch of the Sustainable Design Awards, with Keppel Vietnam taking the inaugural award. The developer was also honored for its Gladia By The Waters project, a joint venture with Khang Dien, and its Hanoi Centre project.

Thaihomes Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company won with its projects ThaiGrand Casa Riva and ThaiSquare The Merit. Orient Success International Investment Joint Stock Company (OSI Holdings) also won 2 awards for its project Oriental Square by OSI while Van Phuc Group won 2 awards for its project Van Phuc City.
According to Mr. Thien Duong, Chairman of the Jury of PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards, in the context of the market increasingly demanding high quality and value, the projects have truly created a distinct mark. The market is also recording the diversity of real estate projects in Vietnam, from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to provinces across the country.
