Yen Bai organizes the 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day

Yen Bai - In the joyful atmosphere of celebrating the Party, celebrating spring, celebrating the renewal of the homeland, on the afternoon of February 11, the Yen Bai Provincial Literature and Arts Association in coordination with the Provincial Cultural Center organized the 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day - Nguyen Tieu At Ty 2025 with the theme "The Fatherland flies up".

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day - Nguyen Tieu At Ty 2025, Writer Nguyen Thi Ngoc Yen - Vice President in charge of the Association, Editor-in-Chief of Yen Bai Literature and Arts Magazine emphasized: Vietnamese poetry has always gone hand in hand with the history of the nation, deeply reflecting the soul, aspirations and mettle of the Vietnamese people.

From heroic poems in the struggles to defend the country to poems praising the beauty of the homeland, love for people, poetry is always an endless source of inspiration, connecting souls and arousing noble values. Organizing Poetry Day not only creates a playground for poets, but also a place for exchange and harmony of poetry - music and photography, language, images and sounds will blend together, thereby spreading love of art to the public. From there, contributing to enriching the spiritual and cultural life of the people, actively contributing to promoting the culture, land and people of Yen Bai and improving the happiness index of the people, aiming to build Yen Bai province to develop sustainably in the direction of "Green, harmony, identity and happiness".

With the theme "Flying up the Fatherland", the 2025 Vietnamese Poetry Day Program brought to the audience and poetry lovers a special Poetry - Music program about spring. The program consists of 3 main parts. The ceremony part shows solemnity and dignity, helping poetry lovers feel the sacredness and national soul in Vietnamese poetry. The festival part includes 20 poetry and music performances praising spring, praising the Party, Uncle Ho, homeland and country performed by poets. The program ends with a poetry release with 20 typical poems released into the sky, a cultural activity, an elegant hobby, containing many aspirations of poetry lovers.

Within the framework of the 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day, 20 typical and unique poetry works by 20 poets and 100 art photos on the theme "Land and People of Yen Bai" were exhibited at the poetry yard. This is a meaningful cultural activity for poetry lovers, a bridge between authors and readers, praising the achievements of the province and the country; honoring cultural values, arousing the spirit of creativity and the aspiration to build a strong country.
