Tanker truck hits many motorbikes stopped at red light

Binh Duong Many motorbikes stopped at a red light on My Phuoc - Tan Van road were suddenly hit by a tanker truck from behind, seriously injuring two people on the morning of December 2.

At around 7:45 a.m., a tanker truck with a Binh Duong license plate was traveling on the My Phuoc - Tan Van route, heading from Thu Dau Mot City to Dong Nai. When it reached the Bui Thi Xuan intersection, Tan Binh Ward, Di An City, the tanker truck suddenly hit a series of motorbikes that were stopped in front.

The strong collision left three motorbikes lying on the ground, two people were seriously injured and were taken to the emergency room by local people. The front of the tanker truck was severely damaged.

"I was stopped at a red light when I heard a loud bang. When I looked to the right, I saw a series of motorbikes being hit, some of them were under the truck," said Mr. Hung, a witness.

The accident caused traffic congestion for several hours. Authorities have cordoned off the scene and are investigating the cause.
