Just before that, the Netherlands, with the brilliance of Cody Gakpo and substitute Donyell Malen, easily beat Romania 3-0.

Coach Ronald Koeman and his team confidently advanced to the quarter-finals of EURO 2024, meeting Türkiye.

Previously, the teams that qualified for the quarter-finals included host Germany, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, England and France.
