According to information from Yen Bai province, the Department of Education and Training of this province has issued instructions after receiving a report about student Chu Ngoc Quang Vinh, class 12 English, Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted (Yen Bai city) posting articles with inappropriate content on social networks.

According to the school's report, this article was posted at around 10 p.m. on September 1, 2024 on the personal Facebook account "Chu Vinh" with a view limit of only 16 people (friends). At around 11 p.m. on the same day, Vinh realized his mistake, removed the article and posted an apology at 5 a.m. on September 2, 2024, then locked his account at around 10 a.m. on the same day. However, the content of the article was captured and shared on social media.

The Department of Education and Training of Yen Bai province has coordinated with the authorities to verify the incident and directed Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted to promptly report the incident. The school has sent homeroom teachers to meet with parents and students to verify the motive and cause of the posting and asked the police to help prevent the dissemination of information.

Initially, it was determined that this was a personal outburst, with no other political purpose. The Department of Education and Training of Yen Bai province has requested Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted to strengthen political and ideological education for teachers and students, and at the same time control and guide appropriate statements.
