According to Lieutenant General To An Xo, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security, by 11:30 a.m. on June 12, the police force had arrested four more suspects involved in the gun attack in Dak Lak, bringing the total number of suspects arrested to 26.
Authorities seized a number of military weapons, including a CKC rifle.
The search for the remaining fugitives will continue.
Earlier, on the same morning, Lieutenant General To An Xo said that Dak Lak Provincial Police had arrested 22 subjects related to the gun attack on the People's Committee Headquarters of Ea Tieu Commune and Ea Ktur Commune (including the working area of the Commune Police) in Cu Kuin District in the early morning of June 11.
Authorities freed two citizens who were held hostage, the third citizen freed himself.

On the afternoon of June 11, General To Lam, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, signed a decision to posthumously promote the ranks of four commune police officers and soldiers who died in the attack on the People's Committee headquarters in Dak Lak; and to support the families of the comrades who died and those injured while performing their duties.
