VPUB - Provincial Literature and Arts Association summarizes work in 2024, deploys tasks in 2025

Dienbien.gov.vn - On the afternoon of February 11, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association (VHNT) held a conference to summarize the work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025. Attending the conference were comrades: Giang Thi Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association; Vu A Bang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In 2024, the Standing Committee of the Association and the Executive Committee will correctly identify the targets and tasks of activities in accordance with the practical conditions of the Association, closely following the province's policy on building literature and art in the new period, promptly implementing programs and work plans. Creative activities have had positive changes, many literary works have been published in newspapers and magazines of the Central and other provinces. Associations and branches have well implemented the proposed plans, proactively coordinated and exchanged in the Association's activities.

Specifically, during the year, the Association launched the creation and publication of 12 issues of Dien Bien Literature and Arts Magazine; published 3 combined issues to serve major events, such as: Spring Giap Thin 2024, commemorating the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory and welcoming the 7th Provincial Literature and Arts Association Congress. Associations and branches composed and published 6 literature and arts books. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Association hosted the 23rd Northern Mountainous Region Art Photography Festival, attracting 2,201 works by 309 authors from 15 Northern Mountainous provinces.

In 2025, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association will continue to propose groups of tasks and solutions for implementation, focusing on education to raise awareness, ideology, and political qualities for artists. Mobilize officials and members to build a spirit of solidarity, actively practice to improve capacity and professional ethics. Continue to improve and develop grassroots associations and branches...

Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu A Bang acknowledged and commended the results achieved by the Provincial Literature and Arts Association in 2024. At the same time, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that in the coming time, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association should strengthen the organization of artists to study and research documents of Party congresses at all levels, the viewpoints, principles, and mottos of the Party's leadership of literature and arts. In particular, it emphasized that the Party leads political ideology, the Party respects the laws of literature and arts development, ensuring freedom of creation along with promoting the civic responsibility and social responsibility of artists. Implement well the Resolution of the Politburo on the development of literature and arts in the new situation and the province's programs and plans related to literature and arts, strive to create many literary and artistic works of high ideological and artistic value, boldly explore and experiment with methods and creative styles to reflect the vivid, authentic and profound reality of the revolutionary cause of the people in the resistance war to build socialism and defend the Fatherland as well as recreate the indomitable history of the nation. Focus on expressing positive factors in society, typical figures of the era. Create conditions for people to actively participate in creating and criticizing, and enjoy more and more valuable literary and artistic works. Focus on discovering, training and nurturing young artists. Respect and preserve traditional values ​​and build and develop new values ​​of cultural and artistic culture of ethnic minorities. Coordinate in organizing literary and artistic education in schools and introduce and promote literary and artistic works to the grassroots. Organize creative camps and field trips for artists well to ensure safety, efficiency, savings and many quality works.
